چکیده

The free radicals that people face in their daily activities require humans to get additional antioxidants from the outside. To overcome this problem, it is necessary look for many sources of natural considering need are increasingly needed Katimaha (K. hospita L.) believed have benefits field medicine. Therefore, katimaha has potential be used as a source antioxidants. research methods carried out were refining leaf simplicia, extraction, fractionation, antioxidant activity test with TLC plate, purification, determination compound class, and using DPPH method. results showed active fraction was n-hexane ethyl acetate fraction. Column chromatography on found six pure eluates had activity, namely N1, N3, N5, E1, E2, E4. Groups compounds E1 terpenoids, group E2 tannins, while E3 flavonoid compounds. eluate method obtained IC50 values N1 40,142 ppm, N3 80,057 N5 271,643 ppm 89,16 124.91 E4 52.51 ppm.
